Re: Addi and Blaise and Draco
Addi met Blaise's gaze, no less confused even with his reassurance. And she snorted a quiet laugh at his next words. "Pretty sure the line just got crossed," she pointed out softly. No, they'd only kissed, but that was enough to cross the line of what was and wasn't appropriate while she was in a relationship with someone else.
Only then Draco was talking about going for a run, and she found herself stepping back closer into Blaise's personal space as Draco detangled himself from them. And then he was gone, and Addi felt a pang in the center of her chest, moisture stinging her eyes. Even though it was Blaise that had put the brakes on things, she couldn't help the sting of rejection. "Blaise?" she asked, turning around so she was facing him, the confusion and emotions still playing about her expression.
"Did I... What just happened?" She wanted to ask what she'd done, but even she was smart enough to recognize that it was a question fueled by the raging hormones in her and not necessarily reality.
