Re: Addi and Blaise and Draco
"Perfect, we'll pick you up around seven," he said with a smile that was full with childish excitement. "We can grab a bite to eat afterwards." He was trying to make the words sound nonchalant in the way that he knew Blaise would have been able to, as if it didn't border on a date.
This had been such a good idea, until she was tucked in against him. He was certain he'd stopped breathing, all in an attempt to try to gather his thoughts about him. That intoxicating scent was clouding his thoughts, and he had closed his eyes for half a second in order to gather his calm. He could do this, he wasn't supposed to be flirting with her anyway. She was a taken woman, and yet he was acutely aware of just how close she was.
Her words drew him back from his thoughts, and his head tipped down to look at her, a soft laugh slipping from him. "It also matches my husband's," he said, not realizing he had not only used the nickname that he used for his lover, but he had said in that loving tone that generally only Blaise heard.
She was so close, and before he realized what he was doing, Draco had leaned in closer. "You look positively bewitching," he said, his words soft. He could feel that control slipping as her scent surrounded them, and his gaze met hers. He wanted to kiss her, she was right there, if he just moved a little closer... He was unable to keep his thoughts from playing across his face, as he fought the urge to bridge the short distance and kiss her. He'd been thinking about it since they had gone to the cinema, and now here she was. He was unable to stop the thoughts.
