She looked so flustered and almost panicked that he immediately felt guilty for his little outburst. But Robert was quite careful to keep the frustration out of his expression now--years of theatre on his side there. As she explained though, his brows furrowed and the understanding lit his eyes.
"Why on earth would you have felt the need to pretend to be in a relationship? Didn't you know..." He cut himself off, sighing and shaking his head before finally let himself move back into the dance with her again. Only he was dancing them toward a corner of the dance floor, trying to get out of the thick of the crowd. "Does he make you happy, Silviya?" he asked once they'd made it through the crowd. He still hadn't noticed the mistletoe following them around, but there were some people near them that were starting to notice.
