Calypso & Mandy
The only way that Calypso had been able to keep Oya's attention for more than a few days was to lie a little. Calypso had told her mother about her date tonight, since the woman was so fascinated with Draco and Blaise's dating life. She had told her how her date worked with the auror office, and had purposely avoided talk of just what gender her date was. The last two weeks had been dress appointment after dress appointment, where Calypso would turn down everything shown to the two women. They had traveled all over to find the perfect dress, and Oya had the dress sent over to Calypso's hotel room that morning. It wasn't something the young witch would have chosen for herself, but she knew that she looked good. Oya didn't have terrible taste, after all.
After helping Dora with the charmwork and decorations, she had slipped up to her room to change before she made her way back to the Grand Ballroom to look for her date.
Calypso was only running a few minutes behind, she could see the room was already filling up as she walked inside the entrance. Her stomach gave a nervous flutter as green eyes scanned the room, this was the first time she had actual plans to meet up with Mandy, and Oya was lurking around, there was a lot to be nervous about.
