Re: Addi and Eugenia
She wasn't going to push anything in that regard or even try to put Adelaide in the middle. There was no point in it. It would only make for poor feelings. If Phillip wanted to repair things, she was more than willing, but she wasn't going to completely deny she'd had her reasons for some things at the time they'd been done too.
"Oh, good. I'm finding I'm rather fond of spoiling the ones I already have, so the more the merrier." She remembered, in the far past, of laying abed with Heracles and building dream castles of how many grandchildren they might have and what summers would be like if they took them sometimes, and how retirement wouldn't actually be retirement if all of their kids had children as well. It brought a pang to her heart, that he wasn't here with them to celebrate all of these little lives now joining the family.
"I think every woman wants a girl at some point," she said with a faint smile. "Though I admit, having one too much like yourself can be evn more of an adventure than expected," she half-joked, half-warned -- nothing on Addi's character, but rather on her own. Dora and she had share dtoo many traits at times.
"If there is anything I can do for you, my dear, just know that I will help however I may. I'm often busy, but that doesn't mean I can't make some time."
