Something was definitely not right, he thought as he saw that blank look followed by moisture filling her eyes. "Oh, love," he breathed, holding his arms out to her as soon as he realized what she was doing. He wrapped her up in a firm hug, one hand rubbing lightly over her back as he wondered just what had her so upset.
He wasn't sure if he should say anything or if all she needed was a good hug just then--but even if she did just need a hug, that was concerning in and of itself, as Pandora typically kept such a firm grip on her emotions. For her to let this show, whatever it was, was very concerning.
"Let's go sit in the room, aye?" he suggested gently, one hand still moving over her back as he eased around to guide her that way without waiting for an answer. His old master bedroom was still furnished, after all, so there was the bed and a comfy chair, whichever she might prefer, and at least the odds of anyone coming up here were rather slim, all in all.
