Re: Addi and Parminder and Auri Open
Auri was a bright child, and like most children, she sensed a lot in her surroundings. Tending to be shy, though not to the extent of her mother in part because of her mother's gentle, patient mothering, she had been very quiet and well-behaved during the blow up.
She didn't really understand what was going on, being only nearly six, as she proudly told people. But she knew something was wrong, and that it involved Addi, who was someone she absolutely loved to play with.
So when things seemed calmer, she slipped up to the woman and quietly slipped her arms around Addi's middle in a tight hug. She was as small and slim as her mother had been, small for her age, with the same golden blonde hair and bright intelligent eyes. Her head tilted up and she smiled winningly at both adults, but mostly Addi, knowing she was upset but not knowing why or what to do about it.
