Re: Dora and Addi
Despite not yet knowing who was there with her aside from them being another woman, Addi turned into the embrace, taking comfort from it and not noticing any shaking or dampness coming from Dora as her own body was wracked with sobs, the front of her sweater starting to soak with her tears. Her makeup would be ruined, she thought errantly, which triggered another wave of sobs. Before long her sobs subsided, though the tears still fell, just quieter then.
She pulled back enough to wipe her hands over her face, sniffling, before looking up at the woman who'd offered her comfort, half expecting Vieve except for the fact that she hadn't heard any murmured words of comfort in French. That it was Dora surprised her, and anxiety twisted in her stomach. What must Dora think of her; Dora, the one person she's been most anxious about finding out about the pregnancy.
"I... I'm sorry, I..." She didn't know how to finish that sentence, so she just let it trail off, hanging in the air between them.
