Lavender's hand rested gently on her son's back. Hunter seemed entirely unconcerned by any jostling. "Looks like he's fine. He's probably a lot more relaxed than I am." She gave a self-deprecating smile, though it was true that Hunter was remarkably laid-back in comparison to his parents so far.
"I feel like I know your face," she admitted. "Do you work around here?"
