Re: Tate & Emilia & Open
The change on Tate’s face was minute, most likely invisible to most people, but Emilia was not ‘most people’ when it came to him, and that flash of disappointment made her heart ache for him. It was bound to happen, and rather than take it as Tate looking for an enabler, she saw the man she loved under an immense amount of pressure, showing her the battle that was going on inside him. “Always,” she murmured back, and let her fingers linger on his until he let go.
Emilia didn’t know how, but she was relatively sure, that Wishes had done something that let her skip ahead in line. Because, despite of the crowd of people by the bar, she could walk right up to the bartender without any delays, and a few moments later, set her direction back towards Tate, bringing along two drinks. She paused for a moment as she handed him one of the club sodas, then took his hand instead. “Let’s get out of here,” she said with a small smile, bordering on impish. There were so many other ways they could have fun tonight, without the constant temptation making it harder for Tate.
