Explanations would come slowly. If she asked, he would more. He hadn't hidden what he was but he'd never explained it. And he didn't plan on explaining the lamp tucked hidden in his office any time soon unless asked as well.
It was too tempting. And though he trusted her... well. He'd lost people he trusted to his lamp before. While it granted him more power, greater magics... he would rather not have them than see the goodness leave in the face of that power.
