Grace had given her about ten seconds to decide. Death, or a different sort of life. Quinn.. hadn't wanted to stop living, even if she was no longer human. Even if.. it wasn't the same life she had had before. She wanted to fight. And so she had not necessarily given in, but chosen what she currently was.
Aly had led a long life. He had hinted at such, but he hadn't necessarily said how or why. For all the newborn vampire knew.. he was merely some kind of incredible witch who had figured out the gift of immortality (or longevity, at the least).
It helped to know he was going to be around a long time.
"A way to cast a spell?" She said, eyes going wide with excitement. "Oh, that would be marvelous!" She didn't know if it was possible, but just to understand the sensation.. would've been awesome!
"I'm trying," she said, the excitement dwindling a bit. Hunger was HARD.
