Re: Aloysius, Hyperion, Quinn, and ZJ
She felt a wave of relief wash over her, as she heard Aly whispering that it wasn't a real dragon. Dragons weren't anything to play with, she knew they were extremely dangerous, and nothing to be messed with. She wouldn't need help playing up her reactions it seemed, because as Aly went about transforming himself into a dragon, she let out a shriek. While she knew it was an illusion, the fact that it looked so very real, and she was so very close, had her heart hammering in her chest. She felt ridiculous for being afraid after he had just told her it wasn't real, but her eyes were trying to dissuade her brain from the logical.
The banter was helping her keep her head about her. It reminded her that this was in fact all a show that was being put on for her, as well as the crowd below. She had forgotten all about them in the chaos, her eyes now moving to the crowded room that was watching all of this. Her attention loving heart soaked it all up, loving that all eyes were on them. It may have been a bit cheesy, her prince coming to save her, but she ate it right up. She couldn't wait to get her hands on Hyperion, give him a proper thank you. This was definitely a birthday she was going to remember.
Hearing Hyperion correct Aly, that she wasn't some property, was amusing. Her attention had moved back to Hyperion, she wanted to watch the rescue attempt. It seemed as though there would be a real battle of fire and ice this evening, she really hoped that Hyperion didn't end up accidentally hurt. She knew that even with the most carefully laid plans, someone could always get hurt. "Please be careful." Though it was directed at Hyperion, as she watched him across the stage from her, she was the only person who could hear that little whisper.
