Re: Quin & Lancelot & Open
Quin would never be much of a "club" person. It definitely wasn't where she was most comfortable. But for a night every now and then she could handle it, especially when it was so that she could celebrate ZJ's birthday with her. The woman was like the sister she'd never had, and if she wanted to go out and party, well, Quin would suck it up and go. The bonus was that she got to dress up. She'd chosen a mermaid, since that was something she'd always rather wanted to do, considering her love of the sea.
The bodice was exquisite, and rather than showing skin, the dress/skirt of the palest blue started right under it, looking for all the world like scales, and gradually darkened as it continued down to flare at the bottom like fins. She had a small shell crown amid her styled blonde hair, and her ring still sparkled on her left hand. Her make up continued the theme. All without magic, too, though it had taken her quite a while.
She still didn't know much what to make of Lancelot's costume despite watching the movie, but it made her happy that it made him happy, so she was well pleased.
"That sounds wonderful. I really want to see what ZJ looks like, she went through a couple versions and I don't know what she finally settled on."
