Re: Aloysius, Hyperion, Quinn, and ZJ
Picking her costume had been a mess, all because her boyfriend wanted to be able to carry a sword. She had assumed that was so he could sword fight with Cooper later in the evening. She had assumed Hyperion's best mate would be dressed similar, and have a sword at his side too. She had wanted to find just the right dress though, wanting to match Hyperion. It was her first real go at a couple costume, she wanted them to at least match. Unfortunately, everything seemed to cover up far too much. With some luck she had found the perfect dress, for the night just the day before. While it still covered a lot, she was able to show off some cleavage, and it even matched Hyperion's outfit for the night. The finish touch had been something she already owned, the tiara, an old birthday gift from her father. She just adored the way it looked nestled into her dark curls.
While she had assumed that Hyperion had wanted the sword so badly was because of Cooper, she hadn't even registered that Cooper didn't have his own sword when they had all arrived. When midnight rolled around, she found herself at Hyperion's side happily enough. She had just been about to pull him away, ask him for a dance since it was technically her birthday, when her plans were dashed.
Aly, the Ice King, stole her attention away from Hyperion easily enough. At first she thought this was all there was to it, Hyperion had told the club that it was her birthday and they were just wishing her a happy birthday. She was just getting around to thanking him, when he said to come away with him. That... Was odd, though it was then that everything seemed to be going on at one time, they had apparated to the stage. Her heart was racing as she took in her surroundings, hazel eyes far too large just then. Aly calmed her fears though, I can imagine your prince will be in hot pursuit at any moment. Hyperion was in on it, she was safe where she was.
She was starting to think her far too intelligent Auror had not only planned something for her birthday, but had tricked her into an outfit that fit his plans. She couldn't even be upset though as she watched him bounding onto the stage with the sword, causing her heart to flutter. Though when he called Aly a cox-comb, she had quickly covered her mouth to try to hide the giggle.
The giggle was cut short with a scared gasp, as the dragon climbed on stage. Zahara had seen more than enough dragons to know what one looked like, and that one looked far too real for her. She was scared and awed of the creature, and while she knew dragons couldn't talk, she had taken a step back. She didn't want to accidentally become dragon chow on her birthday, even if her brain was trying to tell her that it wasn't real. She didn't want Hyperion to be dragon chow either, she sure hoped that sword was real if things went sideways.
