Hannah remembered last term, looking over the side effects of memory alteration and she shook her head. She genuinely felt sorry for both Alec and Roger - perhaps it was always her way of trying to find the good in everyone, but she couldn't deny what Alec was saying. "It can't have been easy for you either." Hannah couldn't imagine the kind of strength it took Alec, knowing Roger wanted to erase his good friend and that he was in love with his wife. "I know it's not an excuse or anything, but sometimes you don't know what you have until it's gone."
"I'm sorry Alec. I honestly didn't think he would do something that drastic and ... I really hope I didn't agitate anything mentioning it." It was what it was, Roger was going to freaked out when the migraines and nosebleeds started, probably think he was dying at some point. What was going to happen then? Is someone going to tell him that he had his memory altered and he should have expected this. "If he were to ever want to do things the right way, you'll help him? If it can even be done after this?" It was all a tricky business and Hannah dealt with the body, not the mind. She had her own troubles in that arena and she was a far cry away from Alec's skills.
