Her routine had switched up a bit since September 1st. Inwardly she'd been in quite a turmoil, and so now that she'd earned her free time, albeit still closely monitored, she'd taken to going out most nights for at least one drink.
She had a nice little rotation going. Victory bar certain days, the Leaky in another, the club The carnival at least one weekend a week, and the Hogshead and the Three Broomsticks a couple of weekdays.
It was, she wouldn't admit, her personal way of torturing herself. So close to Hogwarts and to baby boy. So far because he was a first year and there was absolutely no way she would get to see him.
No other way yet to get in touch with Buffy. Too risky.
So why not go out for drinks. Why not... be a bit stupid about it. She had few enough outlets anyways. She hated staying at home alone where everything piled on her brain and she turned into a mess.
So today was a Hogshead day, she decided. A bit disreputable and possibly somewhere she could find some fun since shed had to work Saturday, missing getting to go to the club and flirt outrageously and snog someone in a corner (and how fucking hard was it to actually get laid these days? It pissed her off that she'd yet to find someone to have her way with without going home with them).
She sauntered into the bar, skirt a bit short and robes a bit on the saucy side, greeting the bartender by name with a flirtatious smile. "Hey handsome, give a girl something strong, it's too cold outside for anything else," she said leaning her arms up against the bar.
