Dom had been absent, quiet and sullen ever since he and Luna had parted ways. He didn't want to in the first place but, he loved her. She had so much on the go, always so worn down and never had time to think on what she wanted for herself. So Domenic had removed himself from the picture so she could have extra time for herself. He knew she was in good hands though, her friends would take care of her even though he knew full well that he might seem like a complete jackass - he would take it over her not getting all she could out of life. Dom would take the hit.
He had just finished his shift at the Hog's Head and decided to stay and have dinner and a drink. Sitting at the bar, lost in thought, he tried not to think about wandering through his orchard looking for Luna in the trees and hoping one day, he might be able to do that. His pint was half gone and one of his co-workers set another in front of him with a nod.
