Zahara had no idea why Hyperion thought to put her in charge. She thought it should have clearly been at Fitz’s bar, since Fitz had been the one to get Cooper to shut up about his ridiculous ideas while the group had gathered around the Portkey. Before they left, she had been sure to stuff some candy into the pockets of the children under the guise that they needed it just in case. She hadn’t given a reason for the just in case.
Cooper was the first one to make noise when they landed, a loud whooping noise of excitement. He even did a jump, hazel eyes sparkling as he took in the land. He thought it was perfect, sure he had hoped for some sort of water nearby but he had a feeling this wasn’t all there was. He wanted to walk the length of it, see exactly what was going to be theirs and just how close they would be to each other. His arm slipped around Gen’s waist, he could picture their kids there he thought. Flying through the air, throwing Quaffles back and forth as they practiced.
The loud outburst from Cooper had left Zahara in giggles as she made her way over to Hyperion, he looked extremely proud of herself and she thought he had every reason to be. She stole a quick kiss, before she turned her attention to the land around them. “It’s gorgeous out here, though it’s a good thing I brought candy. The kids might have rebelled against you.” She teased him with another laugh, there was nothing out there and she wondered just how they could keep their attention… As well as just why they were out in the middle of an open field.
