RP: Breaking up is hard to do
Who: Luna & Dom What: Talks When: September 13 Where: St. Jame's Park Warnings: TBD - Likely none?
After grabbing two coffees from Sweet Nothings, as well as two treats, Luna had arrived at St. Jame’s Park to meet up with Dom. She had wanted to see him after work, especially since the weather was perfect for a stroll through the park. It was still early enough that it was light out, the sun wasn’t ready to set on the day just yet. Luna felt a bit accomplished about that, she was leaving her school before the sun had gone down. It was a success for opening week.
She had even arrived early, she realized as she moved to sit down under a large tree. She set his coffee next to herself before she brought her own up to her lips to take a sip. It was supposed to help keep her up to finish the mountain of things she had to do at home. She was supposed to still write up an article for the next edition of the Quibbler, grade a few things, hire a new teacher, and find time to check on her occamy egg. She wondered if she should really ask Rolf to take her egg, she wasn’t very good at this time management thing.
Luna got lost in her thoughts easily, troubled blue eyes focused out on the park in front of her. That dreamy look that used to look so relaxed, now looked a bit worn and tired. She was stretching herself too thin everywhere and she didn’t realize it. She was offering to stop by a few nights a week to help Dora with the twins, offering to bartend for Hannah should she need extra hands, as well as offering to continue helping with the Quibbler and trying to find time in there for not only friends but a boyfriend as well. She had yet to find that beautiful balance everyone swore was out there between work and play. She was starting to wonder if there really was one, or if she was going to have to end this relationship just like she had with Michael.
