It was possible he'd already met Hannah Abbott, and he'd heard a bit about her from Tate as well, but he'd met and heard about so many new people since getting here that he wasn't going to comment in case he got it wrong. "Uh, yeah, I went to the Leaky Cauldron when I visited my friend here a couple months ago. It's a nice place too," he said easily enough. It definitely had a different feel from this place, a history to it that V-Bar didn't quite have just yet.
"I'm not planning to specialize. I'll be on call for emergencies." It was where his experience was in the Army, tending to emergencies out in the field and dealing with whatever came up on base. "My dad's a doctor though, in the Muggle world, and my mom's a lawyer, so it was always going to be one or the other. Healing called out to me though, and I have a knack for it." He realized then that he'd been over-explaining again, and his expression turned sheepish. "Did you always know you wanted to run a bar?" It would probably be good to get her talking about herself instead of asking questions about him.
