Ginny had been sipping at her drink when Neville arrived, though she hadn't been worried just yet. He was late, but it wasn't so far from the norm that she thought it was cause for concern yet. She smiled when he finally arrived, feeling much more her normal self and, yes, a bit smug about the win against the Falcons yesterday. She'd been doing her best to take Luna's advice and not think too much on the gift Neville had given her for her birthday, but it still poked at her in the back of her mind.
She waved a hand at Neville's apology. "You're fine. I haven't been waiting long, and anyway, I know better than to expect you to be on time," she teased lightly. "And I'm doing good. A lot better than a few weeks ago, honestly." And she didn't want to talk about why that was, so she hoped Neville would leave it at that. "How are you? The new batch of kids causing any trouble yet?" Granted, they'd only had a day to do so, but if there were any like her brothers, that was long enough.
