If she'd thought about it, it really wouldn't have surprised her that something like this happened. There'd been a lot of damage to her body over the years, from her time in the death eaters, from her time in Azkaban, and later from her time on the dueling circuit. There were likely things she didn't even remember clearly that had healed, scarred, whatever, that caused complications now.
But hell, they'd told her she would never have children, and now she had two of them. So what did they know.
The world was still a bit brighter and colder and swirly than she liked, but she could feel the difference of not bleeding to bleeding, so she technically felt a bit better.
"I cannae say i like it," she admitted, pushing a damp lock of hair weakly back. She already could tell she'd need the rest. "So long as I can see the bairns I'll manage, though." That was the thing sticking out in all this, if and when she could see the babies, hold them.
She reached out a hand for her sister's, though. WAnting that connection.
