Tate chuckled as the women talked about the cats, he was interested in the black fluff ball that Perse joined him looking at a moment later. "How much hair are you willing to deal with?" He asked with a chuckle, "I'm sure you could always get haircuts but I think certain breeds need their fur." Though he had no idea which ones did, he was sure that Rolf would know though.
He left Perse with the little fluff that was more poof than pup, he wanted to go look in the communal area where there were a few dogs that were playing. He didn't know if he wanted to get in there with them just yet, he was still nervous about this entire thing. He leaned against the side of the pen, not really putting any weight on it just in case he broke it.
It was then that someone seemed to notice Tate, a pup that hadn't been there the last time Tate had come. The little black dog had been across the small pen from Tate when he had first walked up but had since come over to where the man was. It lifted up on back paws, nudging its nose against his hand that he had resting just inside the pen. It was when he felt the wet lick to his hand that he grinned and looked down, his grey eyes catching the little thing. "Well hello." He said as he reached his hand out to ruffle the little floppy ears. "It's nice to meet you too."
