Quin smoothed a hand down her dress, running just a bit late, but sometimes that just happened when you had kids no matter how well you planned it. Fee hadn't wanted to stop crying even with Nancy there, and so she'd had to stay and bounce him on her hip for longer than she'd meant to until he'd calmed enough for her friend and nanny to take.
