It was unfortunate, in Blaise's view, that Xande's mother had chosen to yank the boy back to Italy for the summer rather than let him enjoy the Quidditch League Krum had started years ago and had personally helped coach the last couple of years since he'd come to the UK.
But Krum had been gracious when Blaise had inquired if his nephew could join at least one game. There had to been firm plans for a last game up until then, he suspected, but enough kids had responded positively that now they had a small game with a widely varied spread of kids.
The Seeker was aloof but polite to Blaise, which was something considering the man's dislike of the press. Xande had chosen to play Chaser, and he ended up in the same team as Viktor's daughter- who everyone knew wasn't his biologically, which you could tell at a glance, but which seemed happy with him - and a few others he recognized.
He always got odd glances when he brought his nephew places. While not a clone of him, Xande did bear quite a resemblance to him, in part because of the blood on his mother's side and in part because his father had also been Italian. It wasn't like they didn't know he was Acacia's, but it did make some doubletakes.
Heven stretched oit his legs in front of the bench he sat on, watching the surprisingly entertaining kids game. Though his nephew would never say so, he knew his presence meant something to the boy.
