Re: Quin and Gen
That was...probably not terrible advice, even if Gen didn't really want to hear it just then. She didn't really think Oliver was a heartbreaker, at least not intentionally, and she didn't think her heart would be at risk of being broken anytime soon, either. It's hard to break something that's already broken, the thought came unbidden, and she winced faintly. Her heart was just fine. She'd spent six months getting over Cooper, and she was. She just didn't think she'd be falling in love in the immediate future. She wanted to fall in love again, but a part of her wondered if that sort of life-changing love was a once in a lifetime sort of thing.
"Well, even if things don't work out with Oliver, I'll be fine. I'm attracted to him and like him well enough, but that's all it really is so far. I'd like to see if it could be more, though." Her nose wrinkled then, and she laughed shortly. "I'm not getting any younger, after all. Already thirty! I know witches have a larger window for child-bearing, but I'm definitely starting to hear my clock ticking," she admitted. But that didn't mean she was going to rush into a serious commitment just so she could have children. She wanted more than that.
