RP: Going Back In Time
Who: Hannah Abbott, Ernie Macmillan and Alec Urquhart
When: May 29, 2009
Where: Alec’s office
What: Hannah watches the memory that David gave her
Warnings: Angst, language
Hannah was bloody nervous. More than nervous, she was anxious and fearful as to what she was going to watch. Alec had been right though, she had nothing to lose in watching this and only the truth to gain. Though, in her mind, if David’s words were true, his memory and recollection, then Hannah’s mother had been lying to her. Defense mechanism or not, she was still lied to and she’ll never get to ask why. That’s why when the initial appointment for the 25th had been postponed due to an emergency, Hannah completely understood and appreciated Alec getting her in again at the soonest possible moment. It did give her a little more time to ready herself.
There was a lot on her mind as she sat waiting with Ernie in the comfortable, posh office. The vial seemed to be emitting a pulse from within her purse that just fed into her nerves and anxiety. That alone made her think of other things. Like the fact that she would need to contact Adrian soon to get refills on all of her potions, her exams, studying for them, how the Leaky was going to be very busy with the end of the school year very soon and she was still shorthanded. Plus, something else was physically off. Something she hadn’t told Ernie yet, and she was waiting until she knew exactly what was going on. She’d had a pretty good idea, it had happened before, and she wasn’t going to wait very long to tell him either.
Practically jumping when she’d heard Alec’s voice, Hannah was snapped back from her thoughts and managed a smile, reaching for Ernie’s hand to give it a squeeze and kept it, to calm her shaking. “Time to do this…” she trailed off, huffing a laugh and tucking her hair behind her ear.
