“It’s safe to assume that if you’re with me, I’m not looking for you to be on your best behavior. I just expect you to be the best.” Which she was, at least in Draco’s opinion. The best what, he likely couldn’t tell you but she was it. Just as he saw Blaise as the best, though he’d never be able to tell you what Blaise was the best at.
“Safer than a broom? You must be batty.” He chuckled as he led the way into the line that had formed. It was one of the disadvantages of playing in the muggle world, you had to obey their rules to a point. Lines for these rides were something that he realized were a necessary evil. There was no way to skip the line without bringing attention to themselves, he had yet to find a way to skip the line with magic that didn’t seem so obvious.
It didn’t take long for the pair to make their way through the line, when they were up next in the queue Draco had been sure to take them to the front, it was his favorite spot! Always the gentleman, he let her get into their car first before he settled in next to her and they were strapped in. A minute later saw them pulling out of the station and heading up to the first drop of the large rollercoaster. It was then that Draco’s hand found Daph’s again and he laced their fingers. He knew it wasn’t the wisest decision he had made but he had a feeling she might need something to squeeze.
The first drop wasn’t the worst, the first drop though sent them into a loop and racing around the track only to start making their way up to the biggest drop. Draco had likely never looked so carefree, laughing and shouting with each plunge that the coaster took. The last loop was the biggest and threw them into more loops, curves, and raced them around until they came to a stop in the station again. Bright grey eyes were watching Daph as they were able to finally get out of their car. He was hopeful she enjoyed it, otherwise this entire date might be a small bust.
