They fought, they bickered, they ridiculed and belittled each other. Emilia quite often rolled her eyes at Benji, and she was certain that her brother had a few choice names for her that he wouldn’t say to her face. But he was her brother, her twin, and seeing all of his hesitation and nervousness about meeting Wishes again turn into child-like exuberance, made Emilia’s heart melt. Benji and Wishes were all that was left of her family, literally the two most important people in her life, and Wishes was every bit as perfect at meeting Benji where he was, reassuring him and just embracing him so fully as if it hadn’t been more than a decade since they had last seen each other.
Looking at them, the tears that had come when she had met Wishes at the Quidditch match welled up in her eyes again, and just like then, they were happy, touched tears. “Told you he’s the same Wishes,” she tried to tease Benji.
