Cooper had spent time in France and while he had run into Gen, he had spent time with not just her but her family as well, he couldn’t even begin to be worried about any of it. He was worried more about the fact that he was about to see Wishes again. When Em had showed up with chips, he couldn’t have been more relieved. He was on the couch next to her, popping chips into his mouth. “What’re you doing?” He asked Em, fighting against the childish urge to lean over and try to read her phone. It was ridiculous and he was being childish and he knew it.
He also knew Wishes would be there any moment, in his living room. He’d told Em to give him permission to let himself in and into the living room. He knew that Wishes didn’t apparate like witches and wizards did. There would be no loud noises, no crack, he would just appear. Cooper was just that excited that he couldn’t seem to look away from the spot directly in front of the couch. If his excitement could calm down, he’d have realized that Aly would be appearing wherever he wanted and it was likely not in that exact spot that Coop kept trying to keep his eye on. He felt like a kid on Christmas morning though, excited to finally have another piece of his family back. There was no getting his parents back, he knew that. He was just glad that Wishes was alive.
