Tate gave a laugh, nodding his head. “I promise that the kitchen rule is one of my own as well. I can definitely do that though, thank you.” He still had no idea just which he would choose as his pet but he figured that would come in time. He assumed it was much like marriage, when you just knew, apparently you knew. He really hoped that was the case. That was likely why he was taking Quin with him to look for a pet. She seemed to have a way.
His brows perked when he heard his name, lifting his eyes to glance in her direction. “Really?” He asked, his voice a bit hopeful. He would have hugged her if his hands weren’t filled with food, he would make sure to do that before he left. “I mean, totally. Part time right now is perfectly okay, it’ll help me make time for my appointments with Alec.” He was grinning a bit then, he was instantly excited. He had been up front and honest and she was taking a chance on him, he wasn’t going to let her down. “Just tell me when you want me here and what the uniform is.”
As he finished another tray and called for another, he grabbed another handful of different berries to sprinkle on. “Thank you, for offering it. I won’t mess this up.”
