Well, walking her home was hardly what she'd had in mind, as she lived in Scotland, but she understood the sentiment behind what he was saying. Either he didn't trust himself to go back to her place or he was too concerned with what they papers would say about it. Either way, she knew she had to respect his wishes there.
Gen sighed softly and tilted her head against his hand, actually finding herself smiling slightly despite the disappointment of the situation. Because in this moment, her suspicions about him were proving correct. She'd wanted him to be this guy, the stand up kind of guy that wouldn't do anything if he were with someone else. Of course, it only made her like him all the more.
She'd been just about to say something when Jenn's voice interrupted them, and then Oliver was jerking back, looking horribly guilty, and Gen frowned deeply at it. Once Oliver was gone, she turned and stared at Jenn in disbelief. "What the hell is wrong with you? Or have you forgotten that he's a human being, not some prop of the team's to be treated like property and micro-managed down to every bloody minute?" Her wand was in her hand. When had that happened? Genevieve had never had much of a temper, but the way Jenn had been treating Oliver throughout the night paired with the utter disappointment in how things hand gone seemed to be bringing it out now.
She made a frustrated sound and turned on her heel, apparating away and praying that she didn't splinch herself in the process.
