"I wasn't so nervous when I first played against Viktor." Oliver shrugged, taking a drink of ale. "Keepers and Seekers never interact. He was incredible to watch on the field, though. I was having trouble focusing." That had been the only time Oliver would allow his focus to waver in the face of an opponent, no matter how famous or pretty they may be. "Now Barry Ryan.."
"Merlin," the reserve Keeper whistled low. "I nearly lost my lunch knowing he was on the same field as me." Oliver nodded in agreement. His hero had always been Barry, and having played against him - and being told the legendary Keeper was a fan of his - was one of the most cherished moments of Oliver's life.
When Genevieve threatened to take her ale elsewhere, Oliver reached out and grabbed the handle with a smirk. "You said a drink, you can't leave halfway through." The dark blue eyes shone with amusement. "It's the rules."
"And Oliver is so serious about the rules." Jenn replied, plopping down two fancy martinis, sliding one over to Genevieve with a wink. "For us girls." A slight pout appeared on Oliver's lips, looking at the delicious chocolate martini Jenn sipped on. While he loved ales nothing could beat an overly sweet alcoholic treat. "Speaking of rules: you're off the diet now, Ollie." She popped a chocolate covered raspberry on her mouth. "Go get one."
