Calypso + Addi (npc) + ZJ
Going to the finales had been an, almost, last minute decision on Calypso’s part. She had holed herself away for a few days, licking her wounds about the entire situation with Astoria. She felt absolutely ridiculous still, what had really made it so bad was the fact that she had been excited about seeing the other woman again… Though, Astoria hadn’t even been able to look at her when she had walked up. The night had just spiraled out of her control from there, she knew that mostly due to the fact that her own mouth had gotten her into a bit of trouble. She hadn’t been able to help herself when Astoria hadn’t looked at her, she had to make a point of saying something about it. It had been the way she looked at Kit though, she looked at him the way that she had hoped Astoria might have looked at her. It had all thankfully resolved itself, for the most part. Calypso was supposed to still have a talk with Astoria, Astoria said she had things she had wanted to explain to her. Calypso had asked for her to hold off, just for that night. She had still yet to contact Astoria, though Calypso assumed Astoria was putting it off as well since she hadn’t reached out either. Callie knew she needed time, to be able to hold her tongue without running her mouth when she saw the other woman again. She wasn’t sure she could do that just yet still.
So she had decided to go to the finales, a way to distract herself from everything going on. Blaise had talked with her that day in his office, tried to help her as much as he could. She really didn’t want to drag him into the middle of it, this was something that Callie knew she had to settle between herself and Astoria eventually. She just wanted to forget about it for a little longer, just a weekend longer really.
Though she had come with Blaise and Draco, she had found herself wandering about alone. The boys were more into Quidditch than she was, while she enjoyed the game and loved watching it, she was feeling restless though. It was she had slipped into another VIP box, this one populated with absolutely no one she recognized. She felt a sense of relief settle over her, no one to ask about Ginny, and no one to bother her about why she hadn’t been seen at her own party. She had been there for long enough to have one dance with Kit, before she had disappeared after everything had happened. She was avoiding those questions.
Calypso flashed a smile at a blonde that looked her way when she came in, she wondered if she would rat her out for being an intruder. “Don’t rat me out?” She asked with that charming smile, emerald eyes hopeful as she watched the other woman. She really didn’t want to head back to her own box, at least not yet. She wanted to stay hidden in the VIP box where she didn’t know anyone.
Nervous hands came down to smooth out the skirt of her emerald dress, she had gone shopping just the day before to help get herself back to a normal routine. She needed to stop her moping, she needed to work towards being normal. Between the break-up, which was still weighing on her, even if she wouldn’t admit it, and the whole thing with Astoria… She just wanted to feel like herself again. She had even splurged on some nude make-up that she was trying out today. She thought the look was perfect for her, just soft enough for daily wear.
