It was silly in the best of ways, and Hyperion enjoyed it quite a lot. Honestly, did this woman have any flaws?? Oh, he was sure she must, but for now he was enjoying finding her utterly captivating. He basked in her beauty and reveled in the laughter they shared. If he didn't know any better, he'd wonder whether she'd slipped him a love potion, but he knew how to detect those, and she didn't strike him as the sort to do that kind of thing. Persephone wouldn't be one of her best friends if she were that sort, he rather thought.
"No," he answered with a laugh. "There was an explosion of melted chocolate in my kitchen and it was a mess, honestly, total disaster zone." It was an exaggeration, but coring the strawberries had been tremendously easy, but getting the chocolate nestled in them so neatly? That had taken a certain level of finesse. Thank the gods for magic, though, as he'd finally got it done, and clean up had been taken care off directly after.
When she finally decided, Hyperion grabbed the backpack he'd stored under the table and started packing everything up, shrinking things that needed it and replacing the charms to keep the leftover food from spoiling. And then he helped her back into her harness, going through the steps to ensure she would be safe for the second leg of the trip before using his wand to get himself ready to fly again. Once they were done with the line and the borrowed equipment was where he'd agreed with Stan to put it, Hyperion pulled ZJ close and kissed her before apparating them back to the hallway just outside her flat.
"Thank you for agreeing to come out with me tonight, even with such short notice," he told her, one hand cradling one side of her face, his thumb stroking over her plump lower lip. Merlin, she was gorgeous!
