ZJ couldn’t help herself, she nodded her head quickly and laughed softly. “It’ll be fun, a total mess but.. I mean, all the good things are?” She bit her lower lip to try to suppress the ridiculous smile that was peeking out. It was then that she lifted a fork to find a noodle that was a bit long enough. She leaned up just enough so that she could slip one of the noodle into her mouth, sliding her fork down the noodle until she could hold the other end up for him. Then ridiculously enough, they went about eating their ends of the noodle until they met in the middle, lips pressed against each other a moment. She was laughing as she sat back, lifting a napkin to her lips to wipe away some of the sauce that she had felt get a bit on her lips. “Thank you for indulging me.” She had to admit, the spaghetti was delicious and it was easy to finish a small plate. She didn't mind one bit that it was a bit messy, she just made sure to keep a napkin handy.
“They were?” She was impressed, he had definitely not opted for the easy road with this date. He had made most of it himself, he had skipped the easy option of just picking it all up from a store or something. It made her feel special, she wasn’t sure that she had never been on a first date that had such a… Special touch to it. She was dying to gush to someone already and the date wasn’t even finished. When he mentioned finishing the course, she lifted her head to look towards the rest of the zipline. It was incredibly tempting to finish the course, but she wanted to spend more time with him.
After a moment of debate, she nodded her head. “I can’t pass it up, let’s finish the course, then you can take me home.” She felt that nervous flutter at the idea of Hyperion taking her home.
