Hyperion's eyes sparkled with pleasure at her declaration, and he lifted a hand to catch hers where it was tapping against his chest. "If that means I'm guaranteed another date with you, how can I protest?" he replied. And then he brought her hand up so he could brush his lips against her palm, keeping his eyes on hers.
"Have you done this before?" he asked ZJ as they got hooked up in their harnesses. He had, he'd even been to this particular one, which was part of why he'd chosen to bring her here for their date. He had a Plan, and this zip-lining course was perfect for it.
Hype was practically vibrating with that anticipatory energy, as well, grinning widely at her. "Yep." And then, after a short countdown, they were off. Hyperion wasn't shy in the least with the way he shouted as they zoomed through the sky and then down into the canopy of forest below. It was exhilarating, and he loved that he could turn his head just so and see her flying along next to him.
The line they were on was split in two sections, with a tree house observation deck sort of thing in the middle of it. This was where they would be landing, and he had dinner planned and set up there already. After that, they could do the second leg of the line if they wanted, or he could just apparate them to the end of the course to drop their things off. The deck was set up with a round, wood dining table that had a few covered dishes - appetizer, dinner, dessert - and a centerpiece with three votive candles of varying heights that he would light once they got there. The whole set up overlooked where the sun would set over the valley, and he hoped she would find it romantic and fun and not a cop out. He would happily take her out to a fancy or wild restaurant another time, but for their first date, he wanted something more intimate.
