Re: Draco + Daphne
Her date? Oh, now that was interesting. Maybe she would have to go to Blaise, after all. He was the local gossip fiend around these parts, after all. Although... she might owe it to Astoria to go to her first. And then, if she found out that Blaise knew more than she did about whatever it was that was presently going on, then she'd get a good talking-to about how sisters-- moreover, Slytherin sisters-- were supposed to be loyal to one another.
For just a moment there, her breath caught in her throat. These were not things that people said to her. Someone like Tracey or Astoria, sure. They were the sort of girls that one brought home to meet one's mother. She, on the other hand, was... what, spoiled goods? A dead woman walking? Not worth someone wishing to fall asleep beside?
Chewing on her bottom lip for a moment, Daphne took a rather healthy sip of her drink before turning to look at him. How was this even more terrifying than taking her O.W.L.s?
"Yeah," she said slowly, not quite recognizing her own voice in that moment. "I'd like that."
