Re: Draco + Daphne
"Well, of course I am." The smile that came over her was slow, but no less mischievous or gleeful once it seemed to flourish over her features, and the soft press of his lips to the corner of her mouth did nothing to diminish it even in the slightest.
That was, until Draco's words brought her attention to the rather notable absence of her sister. She'd been so preoccupied with Tracey prior to her disappearing on Daphne, that now she almost felt off balance, her eyes slowly narrowing as she scanned the room. "You don't say." Turning back to him, she cocked her head, her expression endlessly curious. "You know, she's been rather reticent of late... you wouldn't happen to know anything more about that, would you? I'd hate to have to go to Blaise for my gossip, especially if it were to include his sister..." She'd get the information sooner rather than later, if not by the end of the night, regardless of whom she'd have to butter up or ask leading questions.
"Definitely for you only," she slowly confirmed, the small smirk promptly back on her face. "And if you doubt that, I have some fairly effective mechanisms to convince you otherwise. All I need is you, me, and something like... a coat closet, or any random wall if you're feeling adventurous."
Her attention, however, was diverted once more at his following words. Hold up. Had Daphne gotten to him? Talked him into this? That little mynx. But that wasn't Draco's fault, after all, and after a brief moment of suspicious deliberation as to how he might have come to ask her, she looked to him with a warm, surprisingly genuine smile. "I'd actually like that quite a bit. Just, you know. If you start telling people that I'm nice, I'll have to kill you, and considering how good you are in the sack, I'd really hate to do that."
