Re: Draco + Astoria
“Did your date not pick up on it?” He asked curiously, just assuming that Astoria had brought a date. Draco knew it was stupid to assume but it had been the first question that came to mind. Her dress had looked just like a watercolor, her date must have been blind to completely miss that one. Draco wasn’t a huge art buff and even he had picked up on it. “You might want to pick a new one if he didn’t. You look absolutely gorgeous in that dress. Not that you don’t usually?” Draco’s cheeks may have been a bit pink, he wasn’t always the best with women and now and again he seemed to find a way to put his foot in his mouth. “I’m sorry,” He told her in a softer voice, “I’m a bit of out of practice.”
His brothers perked and he gave her an amused smile when she said she knew he had. “Is it good or bad that you know I have?” He asked with perked brows, he was interested if Daphne had said anything, though he wasn’t about to ask. He was certain that wasn’t considered alright by normal social standards. He’d have to send her a message here soon.
“I am, I lucked out that Blaise was moving at the same time I blew into town. He offered one of the rooms up, it saved me from having to look for a flat so it seemed.. Perfect timing.” Or something like it. He gave a slight shrug, “We should get together soon, now that I’m back in town. You were one of the people I wanted to make a point of seeing.” He had found some documents inside his father’s desk drawer that he thought might interest her, they were definitely not party talk, but they were something he wanted to give to her directly. They might not be able to do anything with them now but they still registered as sensitive and dangerous material to Draco, which was why he fully believed she deserved to be the one who had possession of them and not him.
