Re: Draco + Astoria
When Draco heard his name, the voice was unfamiliar for all of two seconds. As he turned his head, ready to greet whomever with that fake friendly smile, his eyes landed on Astoria and the smile instantly grew warmer and changed. “Hey!” He said in an almost shout, tempted to hug her though he didn’t know if that was appropriate or not. Hugging was a new thing for Draco and he still wasn’t sure who he was able to hug without warning and who not to. He had only hugged Pansy and Daphne at this point, speaking of.. His eyes may have looked past Astoria for two seconds to see if her sister was hanging around, before his eyes went back to the woman with him.
“You look gorgeous,” He commented, his eyes looking over the dress she had chosen. “You look almost like a watercolor.” It was then his drink was set down and he picked it up, automatically taking a drink before he turned his attention back to the petite blonde. “I went out with Daphne a few weeks back, I should have made a point of contacting you, I’m sorry. How have you been?” He had been trying to make his rounds, though when Callie had mentioned the party he had definitely debated if he could take the out and use the party to reconnect with everyone he still had to meet up with. The new shop was a hit so far and so he was finding himself farther behind than he had intended when they had originally opened.
