Re: Draco + Astoria
Astoria had already got a drink and was pointedly not watching Kit and Callie anymore. She didn't want to watch them dance, didn't want to see their hands all over each other. Her mind was an even bigger confused mess than before, and it quite suddenly felt like a very stupid thing to have come tonight. She loved Blaise, but couldn't she keep her friendship with him away from his home and family? That was totally reasonable, wasn't it? Yeah, she didn't think so, either.
She sighed softly and was looking down at her drink when someone came up next to her at the bar. Alcohol had been a problem that night with Callie, but she wondered if she could get away with something harder. Perhaps the risk was lower here with a crowd of people she knew she had to behave around. She could be in control and get drunk. Why not?
When she heard the voice ordering a drink, though, her head shot up in slight surprise. Oh, she'd known Draco was back, but she hadn't actually seen him yet. "Draco," she greeted him, her smile actually warm. Distractions were wonderful, and he could be a very good one, she thought.
