Re: Calypso+Kit+Astoria
Callie laughed and just shook her head at his offer, “I don’t want to hide who I am. I think I’m moving past that stage in my life.” She knew it was dangerous to put it all out there. She knew that her friendship with Kit wasn’t like other friends, they kissed, held hands, and acted very much like a couple. It was what their relationship had morphed into over the years, and she wasn’t about to hide it. She enjoyed their friendship and was done hiding. She had been hiding the entire time she had been with Ginny, she was so sick of hiding.
“I promise to point her out, the second I see her.” She always kept her promises, she would keep an eye out for Astoria. She had promised that she was going to come, she just hoped that she kept her promise. She knew that she still owed the other woman an apology for everything that happened with Ginny, rather more for the fact that she had still been with Ginny at the time they had fooled around. She just hadn't known how to broach the subject with Astoria yet, hell she hadn't been able to go see the woman yet.
“Sounds perfect.” Though she pouted a bit when he said he was a better fake boyfriend. “You need to get out there, go places. What have you been doing lately?” She was suddenly worried that he wasn’t going out, at least not out to things that he enjoyed. Parties got boring after so long, what probably didn’t help was that the industry that Kit worked in there were always parties.
It was then, as they were getting out on the dance floor that Calypso spotted Astoria. “Oh! She did come!” She squealed, a bit too loud, she was just a bit too excited to see the other woman. She bit her lower lip, trying to suppress that big smile, while pointing towards the bar. “She’s the blonde with that gorgeous strapless dress at the bar…” Calypso trailed off, biting her lower lip. Astoria looked gorgeous, the dress fit her so perfectly. Calypso couldn’t seem to take her eyes off her, it was only when she heard the song changing that her eyes came back to Kit. “Sorry, let’s get on the dance floor. I.. Am a huge coward. I can't go up to her just yet."
