RP: My brain won't shut off Who: Hannah Abbott and Ernie Macmillan When: Very early morning - May 5, 2009 Where: their flat What: Can't sleep, brain won't stop, she has a couple questions for Ernie Warnings: None? Maybe language
This was ridiculous! Hannah knew she had to be up and doing things in three hours, but her brain would not shut off. Everything was running through her head - training, work, every little thing. However, it was mostly the memory that she still hadn't watched.
She supposed she was still afraid of what it might mean if David was telling the truth - just like she'd told Gen - it would mean that her mother had been lying to her for years, and would never have a chance to confront her. She would have a father, but a stranger at the same time. Would that make up for the mother she loved so much being gone and having fed her lies her whole life?
Breathing a heavy sigh and admitting some small defeat to her brain, Hannah knew she wouldn't be able to sleep until she knew where Ernie had stashed the vial containing the memory. She didn't want to jolt him out of sleep... and this wasn't the kind of thing where she could wake him up in her 'normal' way. All she did was start drawing small circles on one of his arms that had her enveloped and held her close.
