Katie was impressed with herself - she'd made it to the Leaky Cauldron a whole three minutes before she was supposed to. As someone who had trouble being on time for her own wedding (literally), this was a major accomplishment. But she hadn't seen Kit in a while, and with the exception of random MMs every so often, hadn't spoken to him in far too long for her liking. She secretly blames her new job - well, both of her jobs - because she had hardly even been home in the last few weeks. Who ever the last Birdie had been, Katie couldn't help but admire them - it was a harder job than she'd thought. All consuming in a way. And that wasn't even to mention the guilt she felt.
But she was on time and threw a smile toward the bar before grabbing a little corner table and perusing the lunch specials.
