The expression on Oliver’s face let Draco know he might not be able to get away with playing dumb. He just nodded his head when Oliver confirmed they’d gone to school together. “You were Quidditch captain for Gryffindor, right?” Draco would try his best to play nice, he knew that Wood had been the captain when he’d pulled a lot of shit. He doubted Wood wanted to hear his sob story about how he really had changed, he had seen the error of his ways. It was a load of shit, while he had seen the error In his ways, he wasn’t completely changed. Certain habits died hard apparently. He knew he was a far better person now than he had been while younger.
Draco visibly relaxed when Oliver didn’t tell him to get a new seat, didn’t yell, and really… Didn’t treat him terribly at all. He even laughed, which made Draco smile a bit. At least they would be able to start off on a good foot! That was most definitely a plus.
His eyes followed Oliver’s motion to the half full plate in front of him, nodding his head. “I hear you lot are doing fantastic this season, what position are you playing?” As his drink was set down in front of him, he picked it up to take a sip before getting comfortable on his stool. Now that he knew Oliver wasn’t going to ask him to move, he could settle into the seat.
