Draco did his best to not grimace when he realized that Olivier did remember him. He supposed it was absolutely ridiculous to hold small hope that anyone from Hogwarts didn’t remember him. He nodded his head at Oliver then, “Hey, didn’t we go to school together?” Draco had tried to keep up with Quidditch while he had been traveling but he tended to get his score updates from Blaise and Blaise had been baised about his teams recently. Blaise’s favorite team had been the Bats but then he was dating that guy from the Tornadoes and so when there was the big breakup… Draco stopped asking about Quidditch. For the life of him though, he couldn’t remember what team Oliver played on now.
“How’ve you been?” He was going to do his best to be pleasant. He knew that some people probably would never give him a chance to make up for the prat he had been while younger. He was going to see how this went though. As the bartender came over to get his order, he ordered himself a mimosa and laughed off the question about how he had been there the day before as well, “I just really like brunch.” He told her with a charming smile and an easy shrug of his shoulders. His attention was back to the man next to him though, “Do you come to brunch often? What would you recommend?” Maybe food would be a way to bond.
