Draco frowned at the apology, he shook his head. “Don’t be.” He was close again, now that he had succeeded in moving all of the boxes out of the general path. It would only be an issue if Theo tried to make a run for it and honestly? The man wasn’t moving fast enough that Draco worried about that. Besides, his reflexes were heightened, not by much but enough that he could easily best Theo. He’d keep his friend safe from slamming face first into the floor.
“You’re safe, I’m here. The big bad wolf will keep all the bad things away.” Draco said jovially, something he usually wouldn’t make light of if Theo were awake. He cherished how much his friend cared for him and helped out learning all of the information about werewolf rights. The work he was doing meant the world to Draco, though he couldn’t help the jokes. He tended to use them only with Blaise, calling Blaise a cat and making ridiculous comments. He was even debating buying catnap toys to put in the man’s bed. Draco could be a child sometimes.
“Would you like to lie down? You must be exhausted.” He stayed close, close enough that if Theo were to start to tip he could reach out to grab him. He was fully intending to help the man to the bed, if Theo would lay down. Draco just hoped Theo wouldn’t hate him in the morning if he woke up and found Draco asleep next to him. Though he didn’t even know if he could Theo into the bed with him.
