“You’re very good at those things.” Draco said with a soft laugh, “I’d wager almost better than my mother. If you’re ever looking for a way to pass the time, you’re more than welcome to come by the shop anytime and charm people into spending all of their money in my shop.” He wouldn’t ever turn down added help, though he had a feeling that being a sales associate was significantly below Pansy, and he couldn’t blame her. If he hadn’t been broke when his father went away… Well, he wouldn’t have had to open his own business. He would have just bought a business.
“You’re not just drifting, you’ve been doing things with your life. You’ve not been following your mother all over this planet in search of baubles.” Draco just smiled, even giving a laugh. He wasn’t too broken up about traveling for the better part of the last few years. He knew though that was more drifting through life than Pansy. At least she had married, he thought. She had done something with her life, unlike him. He still couldn’t get close enough to just one person, he tended to date a few people at once. It was the poly lifestyle that he had chosen because he wanted to always hold people at arm’s length. They couldn’t know his secrets. He didn’t think marriage or children was ever in the cards for him, Pansy still had a shot.
